PHOTO REQUIREMENTS
PHOTOS CAN BE SENT VIA E-MAIL
IN GIF. PNG. or JPEG (JPG) FORMAT

There is no charge for me to use your pet's photo to put into one of my backgrounds
(some custom dog sites charge $30 per photo) but you should purchase a minimum
of $50 to qualify.  (The whole process takes about 30 minutes.  I make a commission
on what I sell through the "print on demand" companies who put my designs on
their products.)  If you order a canvas print or anything I do in my own home,
there is no minimum purchase required.

Your photo(s) should meet the requirements below with no more imaging required
than adjustment of lighting (more contrast perhaps) or detailing of the eyes, minor
stuff like that that takes only about 5 or 10 minutes (I often put a dot of white to give
the eyes a shine) or removing a little grass from paws.   The best shot is a sitting shot
turned slightly sideways and looking up (I usually use a butterfly or dove and it makes
the design more engaging).  But you can submit anything you want.

If you only have a good head shot:
1)  Submit a head shot and choose one of my dog images so I can put it on
that body.   The charge, once you approve the new image =  $15 and there
would be no further charge if later on you wanted me to use it in another
background.  You would receive the new image to approve before I put it
into the background of your choice.  There would be no charge if you
wanted it in another background later on.

Click for dog images which also serve as examples of what a "straight on" angel is.

Please read carefully.

Send photos via e-mail in JPG (JPEG) or PNG format.

1)  Straight on angle - not shot from above *

2)  Shows the whole dog (or cat) - no paws sunk in
grass or pillows.  (If I used photos like that, then there
      would be no paws.)

3)  Good lighting and focus-which hopefully shows the eyes
(except with  certain long haired dog breeds).  No harsh shadows
         or light.)

4)  The dog should be at least
3 inches high
in your photo
(because  for t-shirts or prints, it will need to be  enlarged.
If you can send  it so the dog is 6 or 7 inches high (sharp  focus),
that works great for preserving detail.

Let me know the name and approximate weight of your pet too please.

*Note:  If your pet's  butt is showing on top of its head, chances are really good that you have taken the photo from above and should try again.    Also, if the hind legs show quite a ways back from the front legs, chances are again that it was shot from above the animal.

Only about 10% of those submitting photos to me over the years could tell when a photo was taken with the camera above the dog.
